Hi friends and traders.
just wanna post this piece of gold i have found searching the net.
as many people probably know currencies are mostly driven by news and traders like you and me, even when many of us dont dont do it directly on ecns.
we can still impact price by our opinions, similar thoughts and chats, after all this is forex community.
finally after some time in forex, and dont mean i am some kind of expert or something like that, i have learned some good concepts and gotten some good ideas who has boosted my success very rapidly.
just remembering some time ago my begginings, claiming to be an expert and getting platform full of indicators and things like that i didnt have the less idea what was that, when i saw the chart and 1 indicator was going ok, i told myself oh well this work, but then that indicators start gaving crazy predictions i told, this indicator worked just for certain hours and others not, then at next day when i was make a move on the market cause the trend went down at this day the day before but suddenly this time went up. just freezed me. then i told i just get out, then the trend start going on my favor.
even i have heard some people telling market or my broker is conspiring against me, thats insanity but well if thats what you see at the moment, and reality is subjective, isnt it true?
after some days looking just at charts without inderstanding nothing. 1 night i saw something really got my attention, suddenly some currencies went up, and some minutes later other followed. that night i told, i am too tired better go to sleep and see tomorrow if that continues. same day next thing. i started not using just 1M chart but now 5M. and was enjoying that. just have gotten a better perspective.
so i told myself, its time to start toching the water and taking some profits, watching price action and especially a weird relationship it was with a/u, n/u and e/u. its was like a/u and n/u were pricing a little like future of ue, like a pendulum who was driven by eu but with magnified movements, sometimes the opposite n/u , a/u moved then e/u followed.
ok, i started entering first orders again, having deposited by 4rst time.
i got into the first trade, remember was n/u, everything ok but i was a little panicked, i had like 10 positive pips, then it retraced a little i jumped out at the moment just seeing then the price go widly of whats was my target. and i pass many times in that game, gaining tiny profits and losing my time jumping in and going out with tiny profits. everytime i entered a trade my heart started pumping hard and couldnt sleep in case was open.
and me hearing and seeing in chats, oh friend i just got +200 in here, and the other, thats nothing bro, i just +350 following gbp/jpy and hahaha, its was very frustating for me to say, i just got +5 and feel happy.
i just had to get a strategy who worked consistently and let me get more profits but still the question what the heck moves the markets, i got some clue but that was not enough and probably was something like hours myth.
finally after some readings i got something that intrigued me, someone said "markets are driven by mass psychology, certain reactions of people about events and risks". i didnt understand that but i thought, well i understand that without people sure there wouldnt be any markets.
so whats move the people. people by intuition follow leaders and that can make movements, ok i got that, but what uses the leaders to make that movments after searching for awhile, being in many leaders are sticked to some indicators.
after making some research this what what i got.
1) Fibbionacci retracement lines
2) Price action.
3) usd futures indicator
4) News and trading sentiment.
ok i got them, i was happy but then in a webcast i listened people arguing many indicators dont work stuff like that after a session, suddenly the guru answered back and told "they can work its just you dont know how to use them". silence, but was enlighting.
some days ago, i told myself i am gonna get expirience with that and you dont know how good it has been. when you start doing something again and again and its works? its kinda cool, you can feel really relaxed.
then comes discipline, you have to follow your discipline and money managed not matter how sure you are of something that gonna make your risk all your margin cause you are gonna double of money or some another evil thought. "anything can happens".
after some chit-chat here comes what i want to share with you that at least and allowed me to recover 2 of my last 3 lost deposits.
not in profit yet but i am headed.
1) probably the piece of gold i talked about, an ea who keep drawing fibos for your pleasure withouth the touch of a finger, and personally has been truly good, i have how the market stop suddenly at the end of the fibos and then bounce back like crazy the other way. many times has hapenned so dont think it just pure coincidence.
i have been putting tp at the end of these lines with 90% of success, of couse after all putting into account price action, market conditions and some candlestick reading with some resistance and support especulation.
sound hard but it isnt.
